Sprint 177 Release

This release gives you clearer control over when your records sync, a redesigned page for reviewing exactly what will change in your CRM, and a set of fixes that make synchronization safer and more reliable.

Improvements

One Setting for Automatic vs. Manual Sync

You can now control whether your updates synchronize automatically or wait for your review — from a single switch on the Synchronize page. Previously this was governed by two overlapping settings that could disagree with each other; they're now combined into one setting that's entirely yours.

Implementation

Some integrations start with automatic sync on, so your first sync runs unattended. Other integrations start in manual mode so you can review your settings and pending updates first — then switch automatic sync on whenever you're ready. With the setting off, updates simply wait for you on the Synchronize page until you push them.

A Clearer Review & Synchronize Page

The Synchronize page has been redesigned to show you exactly what will change in your CRM before anything is sent. Pending updates are listed record by record, and you can filter by category — deceased, address, and demographic changes — and select just the ones you want to push.

Live Record & Update Counts

Your Statistics page once again shows live Input Records and Update Records counts, so you can see at a glance how many records are on file and how many changes are waiting to sync.

Fixes

Your CRM Edits Are Protected

If a record is edited directly in your CRM after TrueGivers downloads it, the sync will no longer overwrite your change. Instead, that record is reported as Conflicted so you can review it — your manual edits stay safe. This applies to both Bloomerang and DonorPerfect.

Accurate Deletions

Deleted constituents are now reported clearly as Deleted. A brief CRM or connection hiccup will no longer be mistaken for a deletion, so records won't be dropped by accident during a temporary outage.

Correct Handling of Moves Without Forwarding

For DonorPerfect, when a donor moves and leaves no forwarding address, TrueGivers now archives the address on file and clears the primary address — so the record correctly reflects that the old address is no longer deliverable.

More Reliable Downloads

Downloads now recover gracefully from interruptions and stale files, and a couple of edge-case errors that could halt processing have been resolved — so your scheduled syncs run more dependably.

Recent Files Icon

Fixed a small display issue so the file icon renders correctly on the Recent Files list.
