Sprint 164 Release

Improvements

Removal of Expiration Date on Condolences Tasks

TrueGivers has removed the expiration date on the following tasks: The Individual Condolences Stewardship Task and The Household Condolences Stewardship Task. Both included an expiration date to indicate they were high priority. These are created when a household or individual deceased match occurs within the last 6 months. The task encourages you to contact the family or individual regarding the passing of a constituent or their family member.

The issue was that tasks were being recreated. The system recreated the task even after it was marked as Completed, or the system set it to expired. Client's notified us that they had already acknowledged the death. They did not want to continue having a task assigned.

Household Condolences Task Details - with Expiration Date
Household Condolences Task Details - no expiration date

Our team has removed the expiration date on these tasks. This will prevent them from being recreated. This improvement will only apply to newly created condolences tasks. Therefore, your existing condolences tasks will not change. You will need to delete the existing task within TrueGivers. Then, click Refresh on the Tasks display page to recreate the task. Once the task is Completed, the system will no longer create this task.

Update to the Incorrect City, State, Zip Code Identified Task

There have been reports that the Incorrect City, State, Zip Code Identified task is sometimes created and indicates that the downloaded city and state do not match the postal code, and then, the task will provide the same city name for the postal code.

Incorrect City, State, ZipCode Identified Task

Our team has adjusted this task's query to make sure that these types of addresses are not having a task created for them.
